  • This guy was really good, fast pace. Nice! Don't see many comedians with this pace.I'm pretty critical of food in restaurants; paying good money, and I'm consuming it into my body, it better be well prepared! Plus I write online reviews sometimes of the restaurants, and I am more detailed than most.

You have not lived until you see middle aged parents acting like fussy children when ordering their meals, especially with a laundry list of ridiculous demands, especially in ethnic/international restaurants. • Boy can I relate to picky eaters in restaurants. "Back in the day" when I had some jobs serving I struggled to keep my jaw from dropping when I heard some of the requests. Some customers like to keep you running back and forth to the kitchen dozens of times and then no tip! Lol. Got to love it though; I met some really fantastic people and also had some amazing tippers. Way too old for that drill now

    • @Simo Parents who are just simply bad cooks also do not help with this scenario.

      Steven KimSteven Kim2 ай мурун
    • @Steven Kim That's what happens when your parents don't teach you to eat everything. You grow up and miss out on a lot of flavours. I remember even the foods we hated, we had to eat at least a tiny but, once in a while. Then they ended up being amongst my favorite foods (such as olives and gorgonzola). If we hadn't had that ''training'', I guess we would be one of those picky guys asking to have this and that removed.

    • Worked at a pizza place for a few years in the 90s. This bit made me remember one address that ordered a lot at least once every single weekend and often once during the week as well. They were also one of the first customers to begin ordering from this location when it opened which was years before I worked there. Their order was actually one of the first things I learned when I got the job because it's so specific and picky that it sounds like a prank or at the very least someone trying to be funny but it wasn't. They would not accept it if it wasn't exactly as ordered and they would check very thoroughly each & every single time at the door before paying. If it was made the way they wanted exactly then they were happy to pay and were always extremely generous tippers. Anytime a cook or driver (often part of the drivers job was to cut & box the orders as they came out of the oven) made a mistake, didn't take it seriously and/or tried to save a little time they would notice causing them to send it back. If that happened the owner would always send out proper replacements and they wouldn't have to pay. They always ordered the exact same thing: Two 16" pizzas, one Vegetarian and one All-Meat. That in itself isn't that overly odd or picky but then they also insisted that both pizzas had to be: 1. Square cut using a freshly washed cutter. The freshly washed part was fairly common with most vegetarian orders. 2. The order must not be delivered in the usual box which was always used and was designed to hold 2 pizzas at once, each pizza had to be in its own 16" box which we normally only would use for people ordering a single 16" pizza. 3. Each pizza in the single box had to contain 1/2 All-Meat & 1/2 Vegetarian with a barrier of some type to prevent the two halves from touching so we would manually create one using tinfoil sort of in the shape of a capital T but upside down. - Each pizza could not just be made 1/2 & 1/2, each had to be separately be made, cooked and then divided.

    • Ugh same. I was once at a Mexican restaurant recently that only did takeout during Cinco de Mayo, and there were several parties of people in front of me ordering, and hearing these people make a fussy, laundry list of meticulous demands, to their individual orders...FOR EACH FAMILY MEMBER mind you! Was absolutely mind numbing. The fact that these people were mostly middle aged and in their 40s and 50s made this all the more pathetic. It's unbelievable how childish and fastidious some fully grown adults can be.
